Dr. Zalar and the team at GoodVets Oak Park are phenomenal. Our 3 cats have been patients of Dr. Z since 2024/2025 and all I can say is I am beyond happy and impressed by the level of care and compassion shown by Dr. Z and her team. Dr. Zalar is always courteous and deeply caring. She is throrough and employs evidence-based practice. If she doesn’t know something, she’s always honest and ensures that she finds the answer for us. Her communication is impeccable and I’m so very grateful to have found Dr. Z and her team. I highly recommend GoodVets Oak Park for any and all pet needs. Peach, Mimz and Goose love and appreciate you all and so do we!

When your pet has a newly diagnosed chronic condition , finding a vet you trust means everything. This clinic has been nothing but supportive, thorough, and compassionate with our dog’s care. They listen, they explain, and they treat your pet like their own. We’re incredibly thankful for this team. Only negative thing would be their days of operation. I wish they could be open 6 days a week. This would give me peace of mind if an emergency rises. However, they do have open availability and I haven’t had a problem with scheduling visits. Mickey is well and thriving, and we are so thankful for GoodVets! 🐾❤️

I've been taking my dogs to Dr. Zalar for about a year now. She is truly the most top-notch vet I've ever been to. She is so skilled, compassionate, patient, and knowledgeable. I trust her completely with the care of my dogs. One of my dogs is newer to me and has extreme fear of the vet - previous vets with his last owner had to completely sedate him for any vet visit whatsoever. Dr. Zalar patiently worked with him to earn his trust and found a way to work on him without full sedation and he is slowly learning to trust vets/groomers/etc as a result. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Zalar and the team here!

Love it here! All three of my pets been here, & they love it too. Every single staff member is so helpful & kind. They are all dedicated to helping our furry friends. It’s a clean, professional place. They are so informative and such an insightful team. Would recommend to anyone & everyone!
