Had an appointment arranged through local humane society to neuter a male cat that showed up on our farm. Have used this program before for other strays and never had an issue when we told staff to NOT tip ears of cat as they were not feral and being brought indoors. However at this outfit the office manager (?) said that the ears WOULD BE TIPPED if we left the cat because she hadn't got an email from the humane society rep. saying to not tip the ears. I explained that this had never been an issue with other vets we have used through same humane society program. Very weird Eva Braun type vibe from this woman. Eva Braun did inform us that we could pay $600 for "neutering and lab work" as a "personal pet" and they would follow our instructions. Yet they also wanted us to sign a r

I have been bringing my two cats to this vet for years and ive always been happy with them. This past month one of my cats got sick, and Paradocs made sure to figure out what was going on with him without causing me financial hardship. They are not the kind of vet to add on unnecessary things to your bill just for profit. You can tell they genuinely care about about your pet and treating them, while also trying their best to make sure it can be afforded. Unfortunately, we ended up having to say goodbye to my boy Monty. The vets ended up diagnosing him with something that we couldn't treat while also maintaining his quality of life. It was one of the hardest things I've experienced, but Paradocs handled the situation delicately and with lots of care. I am very grateful for them.

Love this vet... They took great care of my fur baby. We found our place for care here in VA for our animals. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet or emergency care for your animals.

One of the best vets I’ve ever taken my pets too. Everyone from the door back are wonderful. Everyone there are so friendly. They are extremely compassionate not only to your pet but also to the pet parents. They take time to make sure you understand any and everything they are doing. There’s no pressure as to what you should do for the well being of your pet, but they will always s give you every option so that you can make the decision. I would recommend to anyone. The only problem I have is that their policy and procedures states that with exotics like my birds are curb side only. I would like to see that change as our birds are just as much a loved family member as any other pet so of course you want to be there for the exam to let your exotics know they are safe because they can see y

We saw Dr. Riggs for our appointment the last time and a newer veterinarian this time. Both were wonderful and answered all our questions. Both my dogs were good with them and I have a fearful dog, so even though she was shaking, they were excellent with her. My other dog felt comfortable there, getting belly rubs while waiting for a lump to be aspirated. I never feel rushed here either. The veterinarians always make sure everything is answered. My one dog was in a lot of pain from having a TPLO and CCL surgery on both hind legs, that Paradocs performed. The doctor gave us samples of Galliprant, for osteoarthritis, and some other medication to try on her. When we tried it out that day, my dog perked up. The next day, it was as if we had reversed the clock on her aging. My 9 year old dog
