I can't say enough good things about this hospital and the staff. From the people who greet you, to the techs and esp the Vets - everyone is very capable, kind and helpful. Dr Bauer is always so positive and upbeat and great with the animals. We are very fortunate to have such a great place to take our beloved pets. Highly recommend.

I brought my 80lbs, active 3-year old dog to Dr Bauer to repair the ACL in her knee. I paid over 5,000 because I trusted he would perform the proper procedure to get her back to normal. Instead of performing a TPLO or plating procedure that is commonly recommended for LARGE, ACTIVE DOGS, he did a lateral suture repair- essentially placing a wire around her knee. At the time, I trusted his judgement. Five months later she still couldn’t run without pain . when I returned for a follow-up, I was disappointed by the way things were handled. I was charged what felt like an excessive amount for pain medication , and it was implied I should be grateful he didn’t charge me for the office visit. I have since taken her to another Veterinarian who informed me that she will now need corrective surger

I have a very difficult little pup and Dr. Clancy and the entire staff were so great. Lexi is 12 now and I am so happy we found a loving wonderful veterinarian after all these years! Dr. Clancy went above and beyond to make sure our girl is comfortable and healthy. Thank you again to this amazing team!

Palisades Veterinary Hospital is the best from initial intake to in between annual wellness visits. Their front desk personnel are always kind, thorough and helpful. They answer any questions they can, and if they don't have an answer, they get back to you as soon as they can with one. The vets are great--very thorough and kind; they listen to everything you say, explain all available courses of treatment, while recommending best practices and explain why those practices are the recommended course of care. They are very good at dealing with people and their pets and I completely trust them to provide the best and most up to date care. I took one of my dogs in for a post-ER follow-up since the issue could not be diagnosed at the ER and had not resolved a week after the ER visit. Dr. C

Staff was so friendly and pleasant. The office was beautiful and clean. Even smelled clean! The doctor was thorough and was loving on my baby during our visit. Took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all of my questions. Where have you guys been hiding? So happy I found this office.
