Two words to describe PacwestK9 is “GAME CHANGER”. My boy Q which was affectionately nicknamed by Gina was restricted to staying at home or night walks. I liked to think he was a great protector when in reality he was not living his best life. He was leash reactive to dogs and men around me and my youngest daughter. He could not go on any family activities because he was always on guard for males. Gina exposed him to every scenario we needed him to be at peace in. I cannot speak highly enough of Gina, Evy, & team. I’ve had a Malinois for over 5 years now, formerly a COVID puppy. Consulted with different trainers in Los Angeles, but when I moved to Washington, I became highly selective. I wanted a trainer who wouldn’t give up on my girl We’ve been training with Gina and team since January 2023. She’s taught us to work with our COVID puppy, and our girl has done things I never imagined she’d do. Free leash at a large park. Sat next to us while we ate as a busy patio. Great experience overall. We took our reactive dog to Gina and did a month of board and train. He came back a completely different dog. On and off leash his behavior has substantially improved. He doesn’t lunge or bark at random dogs or strangers. My daughter can approach him, she even attempts to give him commands. 3 months ago if you had told me that we would be able to take him to a bark in the park at T Mobile I wouldn’t have believed you, but he was easily one of the best behaved dogs there.

What a great choice sending our rescue pup Stewie to Gina and the crew at PacwestK9 for a board and train! I was admittedly anxious about sending him off but am so glad we did. Our guy is back and the difference is night and day. His human stranger reactivity is tempered, his obedience is dialed in and we are able to see even more of the goofy loving pup he is. After this board and train, taking him out and about is possible and continuing to work with him and build his confidence and skill is not only manageable but enjoyable.
