Pack Leader Dog Training

We reached out to Pack Leader Dog Training after adopting a Great Dane mix that had zero training. She was a sweetheart at her core, BUT jumped, pulled, wanted to chase the kids, but most concerning, struggled with fear-based behavior that would quickly escalate around strangers. We were experienced dog owners and longtime adopters, but this was the first time encountering this and with kids in the mix, we knew we needed help QUICK. Susan is a talented trainer who has worked with our dog Bandit for over a year. He was an anxious dog who was not socialized well as a puppy. At almost two years old, he had significant issues with other people and dogs. Often he would bark continuously whenever he felt frightened. Susan has helped him gain confidence through training. He is now able to be around other dogs and people. It has been a wonderful transformation.

Susan is an excellent dog trainer. Her passion and dedication that she has for dogs and their owners deserves a 10 out of 5 stars. While training, she verbally and physically answered questions, taught us as owners, but most of all made sure we as the owners feel comfortable with our now behaved dog. She has just got finished training our Belgium Malinois . Before training, our dog Brody was an aggressive, scared, but affectionate dog. Brody would Leash pull, not listen to anything we would say, and attack. Very uncontrollable. We needed help! Susan took Brody in for four weeks and when we went to our “train session” we were amazed. We saw so much improvement in such a small amount of time. Before we had our dog Addis trained by Susan, he was very reactive to anything that moved & to the point which he pulled my wife off her feet & caused her to fracture her fingers. Now, Addis is much more confident & non-reactive to the point that we trust him in our yard leash dragging or no leash at all. We can also talk to neighbors without him reacting and even had him on a leash just existing at a party at our house outside this weekend. My mother-in-law was even able to pet him for the first time this weekend. We are so grateful for finding Susan & having her train our Belgian Malinois to this day.

Susan is the best and is an incredible trainer . Her passion and patience deserves 10 + stars . Susan has gone out of her way to help when needed and continues to be a great help .
