I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Jay and his staff. My family were on vacation with our dog when he got stomach sick, and they took such great care of our dog, Franklin. Dr. Jay and his staff were great with him, they were able to get him in the day we called and provide him with excellent care. Two days later, Franklin and I were attacked by three dogs walking around our vacation rental. Once again, Dr. Jay and his staff came to the rescue offering great care and kindness. I cannot say enough nice things about our experience when we were so worried being away from home. The staff at OBX are all truly wonderful!

I want to give special attention to Dr Jay. I have watched my 17 year old cat suffer for 2 years with pollops in his ear. I have spent over $2,000 in the past 2 years and pretty much had management medicine . Despite meds, he has been majorly suffering. (I moved,so I went to veterinarians that still do a great job, but this concerned me). Dr Jay removed a horrible growth from my dog 10 years ago who is now 17 and has zero issues. I decided to take my pets back to Dr Jay. Not only did he do immediate surgery, days later my cat is acting like a kitten! It's funny too because I think he's hearing things he couldn't hear before and seems shocked but happy. I can't believe he's acting like a kitten. His purring wakes me up.
