Wow, what an amazing staff! I just moved from a tiny town and my trusted vet for my 3 pups was 3 hours away. My Ruby (80 lb. Fox red lab) had a severe reaction to something while on a walk in the woods fri. nite. I was in full panic mode Saturday morning. I had her appointment for Monday morning. Dr. Partlow was so kind and understood I was freaking as soon as we got there. Not only did the whole staff love my Ruby gal, and comfort her during her observation time. I too was consoled for my gals severe hives. The tissues and calm demeanor of Dr. Partlow and the amazing Vet Tech (i was crying so i didn't get her name) added a bunch of needed relief for me!! We brought our dog Geno in for an emergency walk-in during our vacation a couple months ago because he wasn’t feeling good. Everyone here was extremely nice and friendly to us and Geno. We thought this place was way better than our vet at home as they gave amazing care and treatment to Geno at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately he passed away shortly after from an uncontrollable tumor but it was great to have people so kind and helpful take care of him when we were in a difficult situation being on vacation. Thank you, Martin’s Point Vet Hospital is a true blessing to have in the Outer Banks.

Martin’s Point Veterinary Hospital was our savior on our annual family vacation to the Outer Banks this year. Despite a breezy first-time beach vacation the year prior, our 7 lb rescue pup George apparently ingested much too much sand on Day 1 of the beach this year! He woke up the next morning with a scary level of lethargy, and my husband and I rushed to Google vets in the area. We found Martin’s Point and headed that way without even knowing if we could be seen, since it wasn’t open yet. We called on the way immediately after they opened and were supported by the kindest, most understanding receptionist who said to come on in. We had such a great experience at our recent wellness visit with our almost 10-year-old cockapoo! From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and clearly happy to see him. The vet took their time, listened to our questions, and gave such thoughtful, gentle care. They explained everything clearly and never made us feel rushed. Our pup can be a little anxious, but they handled him with so much patience and kindness that he actually relaxed. We left feeling reassured, informed, and very grateful. It’s comforting to know he’s in such good hands as he gets older. Highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for compassionate, thorough care!

We’ve been with this veterinary hospital for years now, and they are truly top-notch. We love everyone here! They helped clear up my rescue pet’s skin condition after the previous owners had struggled for quite a while to find the right solution. That meant so much to us. My pets genuinely seem to feel safe and comfortable here. I think it helps that we board them here as well, so their visits aren’t just about medicine and needles.
