A place to bring found animals and best of all adopt them. I really appreciate that they ensure the animals are well cared for, seen by a vet and in good health as well as making the extra effort to locate owners. We need more vets in general so if you're reading this, let ve animals and are at the beginning of your career journey consider veterinary medicine.

Will not let you adopt or even look at an animal without an active vet and they are horrible about getting back to people when they get ahold of them for an adoption.

I don’t feel they are personable and they will not let you adopt at all unless you actively have a vet. What if it’s your first time adopting and haven’t set up a vet yet? Denied… What if you use the clinics for your shots and check ups Denied… We ended up adopting a dog from a kill shelter from another county!

I have adopted several animals from the shelter and have had amazing experiences. Caroline and the rest of the crew is so great with all the animals as well as the humans they interact with daily. Their interactions are always pleasant, even when they are clearly very busy with lots of other things. We are so appreciative of them always being prompt in emergency situations as well. We will always go and adopt from our local shelter and you should too!!!

However, life doesn't always turn out the way you wish and my other cat, whom has never been alone, was also grieving. I personally know one of the girls that works at this shelter, she takes the time to get to know each and every cat and she loves every one of them. She tells stories about them all the time. I told her that I may have to adopt another cat sooner rather than later, regardless of my own grief I couldn't allow my other cat to spend his days wondering around looking for his friend. I was approved to adopt, and I went to meet the cats at the shelter. They told me all about the cats there and which ones would fit best for my home. After meeting a few of
