I’ve taken my pride and joy to many vets over the years but, these folks are so friendly, welcoming of our girl and doesn’t give up until they figure out the issue. I wouldn’t take my girl anywhere else.

This is the #1 vet I have ever been to from the time you call and walk in the door they treat you like you have been their friends forever. I have 2 virus large mastiffs, and they are always so amazing with them. From helping me with my female pregnancy to even delivering them. They took care of every step. Now they puppies are almost 2, and momma is happy. They still take care of my dogs to this day and will never go amy where else. Plus, I had terrible experience at other vets with forcing my dogs and making them nervous to even go. This vet makes my dogs comfortable and happy. Can't say enough good things. If you love your animals and want the best for them, this is the vet to go to.

A HUGE SHOUTOUT to Orangevale Veterinary Hospital and especially to Dr. Gerst! ❤️ Yesterday was our first visit to a new vet; we took our dog, Zoey, and cat, Pixie, in for an ear infection (🐶) and respiratory issue (🐈‍⬛). Everything went great until Pixie had an allergic reaction to one or both of the medications she received (antibiotic and steroid). Dr. Gerst acted immediately, trying to counteract the reaction. More injections were given, which helped a little. After two hours, we went home. Dr. Gerst called us to check on Pixie about 6:30 p.m. Pixie wasn’t doing well at all, so back we went. She was given more medication and had another reaction. After a million injections (we’re now calling her the pin cushion cat) and lots of oxygen to counteract yet another reaction, we went home ag

Just started here with our new puppy! Really impressed with Dr Gerst, knowledgeable, practical and takes time to answer all questions. Had an unexpected problem of puppy broken tooth with first visit and she was able to take care of it in a timely manner. Will be using this office for our girls future care. All staff very kind and helpful!!

This place does not even deserve one star. I have been taking my dog here since May, and it has been nothing but a waste of time and money, with no progress made at all. All I get is an “I’m sorry” at the end of it all. To the Doctor who was seeing my dog, if you really cared about my dog and his health, you would have at least tried to convince me otherwise, instead of going behind your desk to type up your final report on my dog. To anyone reading this, the receptionist there will not call you back “later on today.” The Doctor will call you at the end of her shift, somewhere around 4:50pm, and follow up with you if you are lucky. You will wait at least half an hour in the parking lot from the time of your appointment. I have never been rude, never denied any of their recommendations, and
