Open Door Animal Sanctuary

Adopting an animal from here was a great experience for me and my family members. My husband and I wanted to adopt a cat and so did my mother in law. We went together and both found fur babies we love. I backed out due to stress on my own cat but my mother in law loved her cat and went through the adoption. That part we have no problem. Now the problem we have is how they act when something happened. This cat was well taken care of, groomed properly (since the cat was completely matted when he was rescued she made sure to keep him groomed) he had toys, was loved on when he wanted and got what he wanted. No other animals in the house. Every now and then my son who is 4 would go and spend the night. He was great with him played with him and everything. Then today the cat tried to attack my 3

Fantastic staff with a plethora of cats and dogs that are eagerly waiting for you to bring them home. The staff helped us locate the cat we were looking for. We were able to meet the cat, discuss particulars, and work out a flexible pick-up date that accommodated our schedule. I recommend visiting their website prior to stopping in if you are looking for a pet. As a no-kill shelter, they have cats and dogs of all ages and temperament. We decided on an older kitty, Skylar, who's fit right in after just a few days. Definitely recommend checking out this shelter!

Cat Daddy here.....I spend a lot of time in and out of here, it is a PAWSOME place, the staff is friendly and helpful, the handlers are always helpful and know the cats in their care , they take great care of all the animals, I have not spent too much time in the kennels , but have spent more time then I can count in the cat house.. OI have adopted over 11 cats through the years from ODAS ...All very individual and special beings, each their own persona .......Nothing but unconditional fur family love to fill my world.....They usually have a good selection of cats and kittens to choose from, so, you can find just about your looking for. I am a huge fan of ODAS and always work to try to support them , with supplies and or sponsors ....with everybody involved there makes it a a good

I love this place they are doing a wonderful thing. We adopted our baby boy from them and he is doing great. It was a hard decision on which one to pick they are all so cute. We got our little kitty and couldn't be happier, if we decide to get a dog later we will go back to them. This is our baby Woolfe

My husband and I just adopted from Open Door and couldn’t have been happier with the experience! Very fast response to our application and the entire process was quick and easy. They sent us home with 2 big bags full of goodies (blankets, toys, food, treats, a leash/collar, and information packets) which we were not expecting but so grateful for! Highly highly recommend adopting from here
