This is a wonderful sanctuary for senior, special needs, and hospice rescue animals! They have dogs, cats, goats, pigs, torties, chickens, roosters, a pheasant, and a peacock. A lot of their rescues come from PACC or members of the community that are entering nursing homes (among other places). It’s a great place to volunteer for community service hours, internships, group activities or just for fun. You get some indoor or outdoor chores done for a couple of hours and then hang out with your favorite animals after - it’s a great deal!
They are a great group of people headed by an amazing woman. They love and care for all kinds of old, discarded pets who otherwise would have been confined to a cage at the pound or euthanized
Love visiting all the animals, from turtles pigs chickens peacock goats. Wonderful time.
