Old Shell Animal Hospital

I recently moved from Mobile to New Orleans, and I continue to utilize Old Shell's services. My pets are very fond of them, and the staff has consistently provided a warm welcome and excellent care for all my pets, both past and present, treating them as if they were family.

I love OSAH! As the child of an excellent veterinarian who grew up working in his clinic, my standards and expectations are very high. Around the same time I moved away from home, my dad retired and it was time for a new vet. I'm so glad I hit the jackpot at the first clinic I tried! Dr. Cross is an exceptional vet! She is very smart, very straightforward, and very caring and compassionate. She's cared for our pets for 7.5 years now and helped us navigate a difficult medical condition in our collie with great empathy and candor. He lived longer than I'd expected with that diagnosis and she helped us give him a great quality of life until it was his time. Everyone at the clinic is so friendly and knowledgeable. My dog’s procedure was clearly explained to me when we checked in, and her teeth are sparkling clean. I appreciated the aftercare instructions I was given, as well as the clear report about Beanie’s dental health. We will definitely be continuing Beanie’s care with the Old Shell Animal Clinic.

Old Shell has taken care of both of my dogs, including cancer surgery and senior care for my older pup, and looks after them regularly. They are a great vet clinic, and Hannah is the best at helping you navigate what is due, when you can get in, when you need to come back. They make being your vet easy.

They were great with my 11 year old baby. Highly recommended!!!! Daryl looked great when I picked him up. He seemed to enjoy the time spent there while getting his bath and nail trim. Thank you for treating my baby with such great care!
