Odessa Animal Shelter

I visited this animal shelter twice because I was interested in seeing the dogs and learning more about the adoption process. Unfortunately, both visits left me very disappointed with the way the staff treated us. When we first walked in,I greeted the staff politely with a “hello,” but no one even acknowledged us. Later, when I approached the glass and said hello again, one staff member just picked up her phone and pretended to talk to someone instead of responding. After waiting a moment, another lady came over and very rudely stated the rules. Rather than making us feel welcome, the tone and attitude made us feel like outsiders as though the shelter was reserved only for other people, not for us. The way the staff looked at us and spoke gave the clear impression that we were not welcom

Love my kitties, We have to take Anikin (lime) to get his vax, but he is still so little, so we are waiting. The "fix" appointments are already made, too. I named them Anikin for the little tom and Ahsoka (McNugget) for the queen. She is a ragdoll tortoiseshell, which i love, and he is a typical domesticated tabby. (Typical animal labels for felines)

The worst of the worst. If it's not sad enough how they treat the animals, they do not treat people any better. The women in the front were so disrespectful, I have no clue how they could work for the city.

Unknowledgeable, unable to communicate instructions. I've never been here and didn't know the process and the receptionist was very rude and didnt explain the process of how it works to get some dog shots. Waited an hour outside. Dont recommended this place to anyone!

Picked up my dog bleading all over me broke his k 9 tooth cuts all over hime they choked him so bad with there stick his eyes are still blood shoot i will never have a dog there again. There is no one in this town that can make me take my dog there again. I can say the lady in the front with curly was polite and did help me resolve some troubling issues with my dog 🐕 and what comes next after 10 days in the hole for my dog. The aresting officer was polite kind and helpful. I dont understand why he came back in such bad shape...
