CareVet University Animal Clinic is basically my Dachshund’s favorite social club (and that says a LOT). The staff somehow manages to be patient with a dog who has big opinions and a dramatic personality packed into a very long body. From check-in to check-out, everyone is kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely loves animals. They explain everything clearly, never rush us, and treat My Buttercup like the tiny royalty she believes she is. I always leave feeling confident that my pup received top-notch care — and my girl leaves strutting like she runs the place. If you’re looking for a vet clinic that combines expert care, compassion, and a great sense of humor when needed, CareVet University Animal Clinic is the place. We had a great experience at the vet with my dog, Betty. The staff was kind, gentle, and very attentive, making sure Betty was comfortable the entire time. The veterinarian explained everything clearly and truly showed care and compassion. I really appreciate the excellent service and would highly recommend this clinic.

She just did an ACL repair on our 9 lb Shorkie. Pippa came through amazingly. She’s healing well after less than a week.

And it’s not very likely it’s most definitely! You have the most kind, sweet and loving employees I’ve ever been around. My girl Presley loves them as well.

We brought our dog here specifically for evaluation and treatment of a torn ACL with the understanding that this clinic performed TPLO surgery. I called ahead to confirm, and my daughter also called separately to confirm. Both times we were told yes. We have used this office previously and had a good experience with Dr. Shaw, which is why we felt comfortable returning. Since then, the practice has been bought out by a corporation and is no longer locally owned. At the initial appointment, we saw Dr. Torres, a general veterinarian. Despite our dog having already had a TPLO on her other leg, Dr. Torres said surgery was not necessary and sent her home with medications and crate rest, she was dismissive of our concerns and we're told most people just keep their dogs on meds and go on.
