Oceanside Animal Hospital

Oceanside Animal Hospital has been going through a period of transition over the past few months, and I want to start by saying how incredibly lucky Remy, Theo, and Lucy are to have Dr. Bustard as their veterinarian. The level of detail and care Dr. Bustard provides to my most precious family members has truly surprised me—in the best way. Her attention to both the animals and their humans has far exceeded my past experiences, even before the transition. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Bustard and the entire staff at Oceanside Animal Hospital. Their compassion, professionalism, and dedication are unmatched.

My dog, Pico, and I are traveling in Maine from Wisconsin and Pico was in desperate need of having his anal glands squeezed (unfortunately while we are on vacation). We called Oceanside Animal Hospital and we were able to get in same day at 10:30AM. My first impression is the facility is very nice, clean, and organized and the landscaping on the outside is beautiful. Despite the staff shortage today, we were welcomed right away and seen right after we checked in. The process was smooth and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable! We are also having an issue where Pico has been on a hunger strike for a couple of days, and the staff recommended biome food for us to try. We are grateful to the staff at Oceanside and highly recommend them!

I couldn’t recommend higher. Note we are not clients of this clinic, but today we rushed our golden retriever here after she had a routine procedure at a veterinary clinic further away. She ended up having a reaction and we were trying make it to Bangor but ended up stopping here on the way. We pulled in and all 3 people in this clinic came rushing out, ready to help. Unfortunately, she passed away in the back seat. They offered CPR and next steps. Keep in mind most small clinics would turn you away for not being a patient. They did not, and that shows the care of the animal being put ahead of the bottom line. They are also very compassionate and in that moment it can’t be overlooked how hard it is. Well done to the whole staff. From the bottom of our broke hearts. Thank you.

I came here the other day with no appointment because the kids' cat was really sick and not doing well. They fit me in between appointments and explained everything they were doing. They really went out of their way for me, and the staff was outstanding. Definitely going to stick with them.

Awesome pet care!! Had my cat groomed so nicely too. Strongly recommend going there for all your pet needs. Excellent service. 👍
