Michi is my best friend and the head of pest control at our homestead. After noticing him limping one night, I brought him inside and called around. Oakwood Animal Hospital was kind enough to squeeze us in at 8 a.m. Dr. Kathleen is an amazing individual and the team is incredible. She examined Michi thoroughly and discovered that his paw pad was injured. She cleaned the wound, shaved the area as best she could, and sent us home with gauze and cleaner. Michi is now recovering, and we can’t wait to schedule a routine checkup here. Highly grateful for the care and compassion shown to us. Highly pleased with the cost of services.

We have used Oakwood Animal Hospital since we brought both of our Boston Terriers home to be ours as babies- They have always taken such good care of them. Last year our male developed aggression issues & the male vet (i apologize i can not remb his name) has been so helpful, recommending different ways to treat him. Our boy is definitely a handful when I take him in but the vet tech Michelle is ALWAYS so kind & especially patient w/him. I appreciate everything they do.

Oakwood Animal Hospital is the best! They have taken care of our oldest pup and now our youngest puppy. We have had our dogs seen by each vet and loved each of them. They ran tests only when needed not just to pad their pockets. We trust them for equally for grooming and our puppy is a challenge. He has some separation anxiety that we are working through. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

I have been a patron of Oakwood Animal Hospital since May 31, 2024. While researching veterinarians for a second opinion on my dog’s diagnosis, I came across this clinic and quickly realized it was a gem. They were able to prescribe my senior dog medication to help manage her IBD and also evaluated her tumors with care and thoroughness. In February of this year, I rescued a puppy from the streets of Atlanta. Once she was settled, I scheduled an appointment with Oakwood. Since her vaccination history was unknown, we had to assume she was unvaccinated. The staff clearly explained the recommended course of action and even helped me estimate her age. Yesterday we had to put our precious dog of 12 years down. I am so thankful we called Oakwood Animal Hospital. Every single person we came in contact with yesterday was precious!! They were so kind and compassionate. Dr. Rogers was incredible. The tech Ashley, so sweet! Rachel at the front desk hugged me so tight when we left. I appreciate these ladies so much for making this awful situation barrable. I would recommend anyone come here and when we decide we are ready for a new dog, Oakwood Animal Hospital will be our vet!
