Dr Sally Finkel was really nice, informative, listened to any and all questions I had and answered them. She seems really passionate about her job and it makes me happy to see her put a lot of love and care into the animals she takes care of. I will definitely be returning. I’m happy I chose this vet place for my cat. Also really happy and appreciative of them being up front and honest about pricing when I called and at the appointment. 10/10

Oaklandon and Dr. Taylor are the absolute best especially if you have a reactive pup. We have a reactive dachshund who needs sedation to be handled. He had an appointment at 2:30 on a Friday and the tech and Dr. Taylor were extremely thorough and taught me new techniques to help my dog. When I got home I realized he was having some complications coming out of the sedation so I called in and they recommended I come back by for a check. This was close to closing time at this point. When we got there they were basically at close--6:00 on a Friday, and Dr. Taylor had left for the day. She came BACK into the office, WITH her baby in her arms to make sure our pup was okay. Very welcoming and empathetic. Informative and very comforting when we had to make a hard decision. The team of ladies we had were the best you could ask for on one of the worst days you could have. They stayed open past closing hours to give us as much time as we needed, without rushing us to clock out and get home. You guys made a traumatic day more manageable and I couldn't thank you enough. I'd recommend this place to everyone I know, especially those with big dogs. They welcomed our big dog happily without fear, something most vets won't entertain and have turned us away for multiple times. They worked with us on muzzle sizing(our dog was a muzzle escape artist), ensuring safety for themselves and our dog.

Dr Finkle was so amazing as well as Sara. They made sure our dog was loved in our final moments with her. Jane was such an amazing family member. They gave us as much time as we need to say our goodbyes and let her know she was loved. The next day Dr Finkle even called to check on my daughter and I. That meant the world to us so much, our other dog will from here out be seen by her. Thank you guys for everything.

They've taken fantastic care of our dogs since we started there in 2010, from when we first acquired our dogs through to their end of life. Honest and caring advice and support are what you can expect from them. Dr. Taylor is very caring and spends time with us anytime we have questions and helps us have the tough conversations about what's best for our dogs. Staff is always pleasant, knowledgeable, and fawns over Garry and Dennis sufficiently. Whenever I've had an issue, it's been addressed and resolved quickly. While prices seem to be rising, we feel confident in bringing or pets to Oaklandon Family Vet. They 'know' our dogs and that's worth a LOT.
