Novak Rinker Veterinary Clinic

My fist visit with this vet went ok … staff was polite. Sadly I had to return to have my 15 year old beloved emotional support dog euthanized. The vet didn’t have the accurate tools ready & expected my little crying baby to be held down by her two techs. It broke my heart all the while she was making negative comments about my baby not liking to be groomed. One of the worst experiences of my life! I hope I never have return there again. I’d advise them to speak with the lady vet about being a more compassionate person/vet when dealing with families of dying animals and their families. I still get upset when I pass the place. We informed them that the light was out outside and it has still not been replaced. How is this safe when families are leaving outside at night in the very da

I have been going to novak and rinker in ottawa illinois, but this past appointment they were booked until a week later. So novak and rinker in streator had an appointment for the same morning and I went there. Very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I'm considering making the drive to the streator location from now on in the future.

I chose Dr. Novak Rinker Vet clinic because they had immediate opening & there was no wait list for new patients. Once at the facility everyone was super nice & answered all my questions. We had to have a steroid shot & I bought my gal some revolution because she was having an allergic reaction to fleas. When I got to the counter to pay, the bill was a solid $100! 😱 Wow that's super cheap, plus great customer service.. Definitely going back!

Sadly had to put our dog down. They were patient and kind and even sent us a card in the mail for the loss of our fur baby.
