This review is not a jab at the technicians or the front desk at all. They have always been kind, patient, and caring. My issue lies entirely with Dr. Patton. Now this is an experience from over a year ago however I finally decided to write it to prevent what I went through with someone else. When we started treating with Patton my cat was diagnosed with diabetes and we began a trial on the drug Synvelgo. After a month on it, no progress but he wasn’t getting worse. We were told “keep doing what you’re doing.” Let me reiterate during this time Patton did not advise us to change his dry food only supplement diabetic wet food. He did not tell us to monitor his glucose at home with a monitor. He was not administered a glucose curve. We were first time diabetic pet owners so while we were naiv

I wouldn’t trust any other Veterinary Clinic with my Doodle and Maltese. The staff is wonderful and Dr Patton is very thorough and explains diagnosis clearly. My dog actually wags his tail when Dr Patton examines him. Unlike the previous clinics I’ve used over the years, Northway Animal Hospital doesn’t over charge or push unnecessary treatment. I highly recommend Northway Animal Hospital.

First time taking my doggo in, and I could not have asked for a better experience. The office is so cute with a fish tank and a punk rock bird named Shredder. They even have a place for kids to play so parents can keep vet appointments without having to find babysitters! Dr. Patton was informative, nice, personable, and easy to talk to. The front desk staff were easy to talk to, friendly, and gave my doggo some treats for being a good boy while getting his shots. My doggo loved everyone there, and even got to make a new friend with a border collie puppy. Their prices are fantastic, having come from Valley Animal Hospital it was like a night and day difference. The same treatment I paid over $400 for at VAH, I got for less than $100 from this vet. 10/10, highly recommend! I am so glad I

Let me start by saying the two vets are phenomenal, and the front desk staff is great as well. But the techs are a different story. If you aren’t passionate about animals, you shouldn’t be working with them. I brought my dog in today at 7:30, since Google lists that as the opening time. The front desk told me the vet would arrive at 8:00. At 8:00, still no vet. That’s when a tech, who clearly has an issue with my dogs, said this to me: ‘Since he doesn’t really like us, we won’t be able to get him out of the crate. So you’d need to schedule an appointment, or take him to the emergency vet.’ If you don’t know how to be professional and work well with animals you shouldn’t be a vet tech. The receptionist laughed at me when I brought in a VERY ill kitten that I found on the side of the road. When I walked in, she and whoever else was behind the desk just looked at me. No greeting, no urgency, no nothing. I proceeded to ask for help and she laughed (probably because I was crying and desperately pleading for any assistance; as if I was bothering her) and then proceeded to tell me they couldn't help me. They claimed they do not handle emergencies even though on their website they state they do. There was a MAJOR lack of compassion and inability to even want to TRY and help. On their website they state : "Our knowledgeable staff and modern facilities are equipped to handle a wide variety of medical conditions, including emergencies." You obviously DO NOT have any of those thin
