Northern Veterinary Clinic

We don’t live in Bemidji but spend the summers up here. Northern Vet Clinic was recommended to us by friends that live here when we needed end of life services for our 16 year old kitty, Marley. We visited once before having to go back for the final time. We were amazed at the compassion, patience and information on Marley’s condition that was given to us. We never felt rushed and felt a real connection with Dr Brandi Lahn and vet tech Stefanie. We highly recommend Northern Veterinary Clinic to anyone needing a vet in the Bemidji area. Wonderful people. Great flower boxes by the way. Wink wink. Nudge nudge. Sadly we had to have our cat put down a few years back. They were genuinely sensitive towards our emotions that day. They helped us understand the process well. Sorry for the sad post but that's the harsh reality of being a pet owner. Very highly recommend this place.

I brought my cat Blaze in about a year ago while I was a college student. I’d found her out in the road during a snowstorm on the way to our deer stand. I ended up bringing her in the stand with me as no one around knew who she belonged to. Her paws were scraped up, she had a cut on her face and she was tiny. No shelters had any room and later I found a large gash on her back leg a few inches long. I was a college student so I didn’t really have the money to spend on a kitten that I’d just found. Once I brought her in they were concerned that she had a broken leg. They were amazing working with me and told me that since she was only a few months old that if it was broken it may heal on its own. They stitched her back up and gave me pain meds and antibiotics. I just started bringing my dogs here and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend them! They treat my pups and myself with professionalism and are always smiling! My pups definitely enjoy them as well
