I love this vet. I’ve come here for years with other pets also through a recommendation from my neighbor. Dr. Dunn is really nice and has a great sense of humor. He truly loves what he does (it shows) and always goes the extra mile. I brought my pup in for a routine exam and I mentioned the knots behind his ear (I have a long haired chihuahua). Dr. Dunn said he would clip the knots behind his ears and took him in the back to do so. Small acts of kindness like this, and the feeling of never being rushed or stressed is appreciated. I work in healthcare so I know good healthcare workers. Anybody who dedicates their lives to caring for animals automatically gets points! :) I also like how the office calls and texts to confirm the appointments so that we do not forget; the friendly reminder is

I would give a zero! I took my boy there in 2021. He had arthritis and had his shots updated. Then it closed. At the end of last year I called to make an appointment to have a growth removed, I was told that they wouldn't take him back. I received a phone saying he can come back. I made the appointment. Then I received an email cancelling the appointment. They wouldn't see him because they're only seeing patients that has had surgery there. I was told they are overwhelmed. My boy has never needed surgery before. They should've stayed closed. Not the patients fault that they are overwhelmed. Get more help in there.

My dog had CCL surgery here. We paid a lot of money and wasted so much time for nothing. The surgery was a failure. She never recovered and has been in pain for 5months. I went back to the vet that did the surgery twice, he kept saying to give it time and that the surgery was a success. But my dog never healed and the surgery was not a success! We had to go see a specialist at another vet hospital to let us know that the surgery was a failure. Now we have to pay to get the surgery done again. Do not waste your time and money with surgery at this place.

This place has always made me and my pups feel welcomed and heard! When we lost one of our fur babies to a hit and run a year ago they were so helpful with everything! Dr. Dunn is amazing with my pups and always remembers them. They love him and are always excited to see him. It is a little expensive but my boys are given great care so they are worth it.

There was an issue and now I get treated like crap. Yeah Dr Dunn has helped me in the past, I'm grateful for that, but since then, 1 issue not even for my pet, I asked what the problem was. I got yelled at. So I raised my voice too. I did what was asked of me, thinking things would be good. Nope, I took my cat there for blood work. I was supposed to get a phone call for medical level for hyperthyroid and never got the call. My cat shouldn't have to suffer cause I speak my mind. All animals should get Great care regardless of how they feel about the owner! This is absolutely WRONG! I will call Northshore Animal Hospital and Dr Dunn out! I'll never go back there again! Find your animals a better Vet.
