North Providence Animal Shelter

We adopted Cooper in Sept 2025. We were told he originally came from a rough past, and that he was adopted out but they were only able to keep him for a short time and had to return him to the shelter for personal reasons. We took a shot and brought him home. I must admit, the 1st few months were tough trying to get Cooper to relax and get along with our other dog. Fast forward to today....he is the sweetest, happy, snuggly little boy! He is enjoying his life on our little farm and we couldn't be happier for him to have a great life now! Thank you to North Providence Animal Shelter for taking such good care of him while he waited for his forever home. We are truly in love with him and spoil him every chance we get!

This is an awesome shelter! The guy working there was so sweet, and we noticed immediately he cares for the dogs. We just filed an application. I would reccomend this shelter to everyone!❤️

I was able to adopt the most beautiful 3 year old male Shepard. Rich, Bob and the rest of the staff are awesome human beings!

The staff member was fantastic. Very personal took all the needed. To make the choice may GOD bless him for his great job. This is OB our new kittie.
