North Little Rock Animal Shelter

North Little Rock animal shelter helped me to make a big difference in the lives of a family in need! They assisted the family with spaying, neutering, and providing vaccinations for 14 cats through a grant, and helped find homes for some of them. Any time I need to help families who are needing pet food, they’ve provided! Such fantastic folks to work with! Thank you for all you do!

They are very kind and friendly people. My girlfriend and I looked at the cats Tuesday and came back Thursday to decide which one we would adopt. The whole time the staff was very helpful and nice and the lady explained how she cares for them and it really seemed like she genuinely loves all the animals there. We adopted a handsome stinky little man named Bruce. We changed his name to Biff and even though it’s only been a day with him I would sacrifice the world for him. I’m so thankful for the staff here, they were just so patient and passionate about these animals. Thank you so much!!

This facility which has been around for many years has now been newly remodeled and renovated. Still located in the Burns Park area of North Little Rock, the building houses lots of needy animals. Long time resident of North Little Rock, Adam Tindall is the Director of the North Little Rock Animal Services and has worked in the industry for 19 years with plenty of experience caring for the needs of the lost and found animals around the community. Their goal is to spay, neuter, and educate people on the importance of keeping the animal population under control. Great place to adopt your next pet.

Today is Monday, October 13th. I just called around 12:05-12:06. Lady who picked up was very rude and unhelpful. I asked her if she has a Yorkshire Terrier dog, and she said "No. We sure don't. Anything else?". Not necessary, I just had a question. Wanted a dog for my little niece. But she ruined it.

These folks that have this job, I just can’t imagine doing the things you have to do. On a more positive note, I have adopted 2 pups from here over the last 20 years, my first was in 2003 and was an adult red chow mix (Elmo) he has since crossed the rainbow bridge. Recently I went up to look at some adorable yellow lab pups, my son and I went, we were helped as soon as we walked in the door. We were escorted back to the pups and OMG, I wanted them all,however, there was a baby in the spot next to them that really wanted to come home with us! Knowing little pups are easy to adopt out, I wanted to meet the next door guy, his name was Blue and he is a lab mix ❤️ Didn’t take long, they gave us a bag of treats and put him in a slip lead, he was jumping and being obnoxious and eating treats,
