My Labrador, Georgia, had 2 TPLO surgeries within 20 months with Dr Curcio. Both of them were unplanned and our family was devastated for our 7yo white lab. He performed the CCL repair, as well as meniscus removal, and treated her with utmost care. She has recovered well. The entire practice was knowledgeable, kind, and timely with all appointments. We were instructed a care plan at home and prescribed meds to ease her pain and discomfort. We were encouraged to call if any questions or concerns. It was a long road, and we felt confident her doctor was skilled and professional. They truly cared with loving hearts for our dog which started with a smile and warm greeting upon arrival, all the way to her discharge day. We highly recommend the surgeons and staff NGV.

My precious cat, Mochi, was injured by our large rescue dog back in December (they broke through all of our barriers and precautions at the time). We rushed her to a smaller vet as we had JUST relocated and he didn't do anything other than recommend NGVS and happily sent a referral for which I will ever be grateful. Dr. Oshin and his staff have been wonderful this last year! My dog Renny tore both his CCLs last year and Dr Oshin performed both TPLO surgeries. My boy is now able to run around and be his energetic self again. I can’t thank Dr. Oshin enough for his expertise and bringing that joy back to my dog. I brought my dog to this emergency veterinary clinic for vomiting and loss of appetite. During the initial visit, diagnostics were performed and I was instructed to follow up with my regular veterinarian only if vomiting continued. My dog did not vomit again at that time, so I followed the discharge instructions as they were explained to me. When my dog’s condition later worsened, I returned seeking further help. During this visit, I was told that the veterinarian had advised next-day follow-up, which was not the guidance I received at discharge. Our 9½-year-old German Shepherd, Dexter, suddenly went from running on the beach this summer to being in excruciating pain, screaming just trying to stand. We brought him to NGVS on emergency intake with Dr. Curcio, the orthopedic specialist. He quickly identified a herniated disc and performed the CT scan and surgery that gave us our dog back. Dexter is not exactly the world’s easiest patient — he’s a big, stubborn shepherd who does not like to be handled — but the staff managed him with skill, care, and courage (without getting eaten).
