North Dallas Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital

I had to take my dog to an emergency vet because he was having trouble breathing. The patient care he got here was amazing, all the staff were super nice and helpful in explaining everything to us - from his treatment, medicine, diagnosis, bills, etc. Our dog got treated very well and we could tell he felt safe with them. Our dog ended up staying a total of 4 days there, 2 and a half of them in an oxygen tank to help his breathing. They let us come and visit him in the doggie ICU and see him every day which helped us a lot, too. They would call and text us with updates and would always answer when we called with questions and concerns. The doctors that treated him were excellent - very clear and honest with us about his condition and the treatments they were doing on him. We are very grate

I’ve been here so many times for many of my kids over the years and they are always beyond amazing each time.Took my kiddo here in the middle of the night during the ice storm and was so relieved that they were taking patience since they’re always filled to capacity. My kiddo was declining quickly and they were able to get him stable safely. He was hospitalized for a few days and they allowed me to visit multiple times in the back and kept me updated. Love you guys and hope to not see you soon haha Freddie says hi and thank you so much! He’s doing a TON better. Would’ve never known he almost died a few days ago.

Everyone at the hospital was kind, compassionate and well informed. They took time asking and responding to questions. Our dog stayed overnight and we received 2 follow ups as well as the offer to call anytime to check in on how she was doing. The doctors and staff were very thorough in explaining the situation, concerns and prognosis. We are very please with the level of care and would highly recommend this Emergency Hospital.

I cannot express how amazing the staff was from start to finish. Everyone was beyond helpful and made sure we were thoroughly informed, they treated Thumper with soo much love. We were beyond worried when his severe skin allergies worsened and then turned into an ear infection. After a shot, meds, and medicated bath he is doing so much better in such a short time frame. I could not wait until Monday morning to see our vet and North Dallas Vet went above and beyond.

All of my border collies have been to this clinic and have been treated with nothing but exceptional care. I feel like their prices are comparable to other places and they are extremely thorough. Sometimes the wait can be long, but that is expected with any place you go. We drive out of our way to go to them if we can, because they have my 100% trust.
