We are about to adopt our third dog from the Weld County campus and I could not be more thrilled! The personnel are extremely knowledgeable and truly care about the animals in their facility. We got an elderly Doberman in 2024 who unfortunately only lasted six months before passing. But, we were fortunate to have such a good girl her for her last months! We got a German Shepherd, December 2024, and are about to adopt our second German Shepherd today. They are extremely helpful following the adoption if there are any issues with bad habits, etc. All my dogs have been and will continue to be be rescues!

NOTE: Review revised upon further communication with the shelter. Raised from one star. Update: I adopted a cat from the Greeley location on January 10th, and while the beginning of our journey was challenging, I want to share my experience in a way that reflects both the difficulties and the positive steps the shelter has taken since. When I first brought my cat home, it became clear that he was struggling with health issues that hadn’t been fully apparent at the time of adoption. A visit to the veterinarian the next day revealed several concerning conditions, including intestinal thickening, persistent diarrhea, and severe anemia. The urgent tests and treatments came to about $950, and it was an overwhelming situation so soon after adoption. Initially, I felt frustrated and unsure where

I give a dog back, because has medical issues, that didn't told me about!!! So figured out that I had to pay $250 adoption fees plus $500 for check and medication. Also dog was on someway aggressive. I don't go there anymore. Also I figured out, that animal shelters close to Denver are way cheaper and workers there are very honest. Also dogs looks way healthier!

The facility is absolutely amazing. From the cat adoption rooms, to the dogs, it is beautiful and a great space for the animals. The meet rooms are so clean and a great space to visit with your future pet. The staff was amazing right from the beginning, showing us where to find the dogs and setting up the visits we had. My favorite employee, I don't remember her name sadly, started with a B i believe, was absolutely amazing with us and even more when handling the dogs. She told me about Bodhi and his loving demeanor, how he was calm and listened well. After meeting Bodhi, we placed a 24 hr hold on him, and the next day we brought our 3yr old daughter to meet him. Needless to say, that visit went amazing and we brought Bodhi home on 09/24. He is adjusting at an amazing rate and has d

Nice place, they had lots of kittens...but it does suck that they have glass so you can't put your fingers in (I know you aren't supposed to anyways, but they are babies) to pet them. The only reason I gave theee stars is because she told us they only do two visits a day, that seems odd to me, what if I wanted to look at several different animals and not just two. She may have meant two visits a day for each pet but that also seems weird because wouldn't they want the animals seeing as many potential adopters as possible!
