I read all of these reviews about OFA’s not being submitted in a timely manner. I unfortunately did experience this when I took one of my dogs over there for OFA X-rays. I had an appointment set up and still ended up waiting for hours. If I remember correctly it was about 6 hours. I never got any updates from them after. I called multiple times for updates and would always get “it’s still processing.” I spent over 600 dollars just to not even get the X-rays submitted. I guess I paid over 600 dollars for a “complimentary beer.” They took my money and didn’t even do their job. That was the first and last time I will ever go there. I have waited TWO YEARS for at least 4 dogs’ OFA x-rays to be submitted from Newport Beach Veterinary Hospital I drove from out of state SIX HOURS ONE WAY to have these x-rays done. I wasted my entire day, not to mention the effect on being able to breed or sell these dogs. I asked for copies of digital x-rays for one dog that was sold pending those and never got them so it killed the sale... I understand life happens, and I have literally been saying “I get it” to every excuse that’s been made to me when I request they be sent in or recently I’ve asked twice for a refund without any response. This is ridiculous, and apparently I am not the only one. The one star is for the champagne they provided before stealing my money. I went in nearly 1 year ago to get OFA’s on my dog and they were never sent in. I’ve called numerous times and was told I would get a call back and nothing. Deborah won’t call anyone back or give me a refund. I understand things happen and would be very understanding if the files were lost or what not, but having no answer and no one will contact me back for an update is absolutely ridiculous and theft at this point. The services were not provided but they had no problem taking my money. I will be turning this hospital into the veterinary board and OFA.

I wouldn't have given any stars but your not able to post with out one. I have used Deb Cohen for years, I had heard that she was sick in and out of the hospital. Question is.. why is she still taking OFA X-rays and not submitting them? my appt was June 22,24 . it's been 5 months. I am still waiting on them to be submitted! she has now screwed with my breading program! my girls are due in, in the next month! we need to stop her insanity! I call about every two weeks no reply.

We love the Cohens and so does our bulldog Maggie! The level of care, attention, and affection she gets from this vet is at the highest of levels. They have always been there for us and for her when needed and are so grateful we found them.
