Very Unprofessional staff and adoption process. The facility looks like a homeless shelter. The dogs were barking and you could see their breath because there was no heat. Response to shelter comments: I scheduled my appointment 4 days prior to the first available date and additionally called 1 hour in advance before appointment to confirm. During the phone call I was informed only one cat was left however it was the actual kitten I was interested in…I thought it was fate. After arriving I was approached and told “that one is mine, I just signed papers.” I thought it was a mistake because I literally just called. She also told me she was there for another cat the previous day but they were no longer available. Clearly she didn’t have interest in this cat initially during her appointment t

We've adopted 3 beautiful cats from them over the years. They are super friendly, informative about temperament, and it is always super clean.

Woman was extremely rude on the phone. Told me I don't want to work with a trainer (which isn't the case) and when she could hear I was getting upset she told me to put my dog down. Wouldn't recommend them at all. I never said my dog was snapping at my children. I told you a trainer wouldn't help (you immediately told me I don't want a trainer before you even asked me) because of the other dog aggression. We've spoken with several trainers and don't have $3000 to drop for behavioral training. And I was not lashing out. I was on the verge of tears when you told me to put my dog down. Other shelters haven't told us to put him down, they've given us very helpful resources and other places to try. You're the only place that told me to put my dog down.

This place is doing the absolute best that it can using the resources it has available. We adopted our 4 month old black and white male cat here a few weeks ago and he is doing very well. I will remember this place on the future if we decide to upgrade our family again. Thank you New Lease!

Absolutely unbelievable. Just had to tell our children that have been super excited about getting 2 specific kittens that we couldn’t get them because their “board” deemed us unfit because in the past my fiancée couldn’t afford to get her cats to the vet regularly. Ummmmm ok you’ve been messaging back and fourth this that and the third but you ignore us for almost 24hrs then decide to tell her that just because of her past we don’t qualify. Wow! That’s a joke. And your facility looks more like an impound than a rescue…. Unkept, sickly animals, poor animal living conditions. It’s honestly more of a “who knows who” rescue which is unfair to the rest of us. I had a vet lined up for regular vet appointments because they said the one cat that I wanted had an “innocent” condition. I wasn’t going
