We adopted a sweet pup from this shelter on our 3rd visit to the NHSPCA. The staff is wonderful and they take such good care of the animals in their facility. Special shoutout to Lexi, who took quite a bit of time helping us get acquainted with Lila, who was very afraid of my husband at first. Lexi coached us well because now Lila is a total love bug! We were sent home with so many great items to help with the transition, it was incredible. Top marks all around—thank you!

The New Hampshire SPCA is truly one of the most incredible organizations I’ve ever experienced. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the compassion, care, and dedication they have for every single animal. The facility is clean, calm, and thoughtfully designed, and it’s so clear how deeply the staff and volunteers care about the well-being of the animals in their care. The level of love, patience, and professionalism here is unmatched. Every animal is treated with dignity, kindness, and respect, and it shows in how relaxed and well cared for they are. This place goes above and beyond in every way, from education to adoption support, and truly sets the gold standard for animal welfare. If you’re considering adopting, volunteering, or supporting an animal organization, the New Hampshi

The staff at the SPCA veterinary clinic in Stratham New Hampshire are amazing. My baby boy MJ hates his nails being touched so I'm not able to clip his nails and unfortunately I'm on a tight budget being a single mother on SSA so I don't have much money to spare. The other morning, after taking MJ for a ride in the car, I open the door to let him out and he jumped down the pavement and one of his nails split and he must have sprained his paw/ankle. So later in the day I noticed he wouldn't get up off my bed to go outside or get up and walk at all. I was frantic calling dozens of vets to see they could clip his nails for me at a discount or payments plan. Not one of them would. When I called the the NHSPCA, they were amazing!! They immediately said they would take care of his nails at NO C

Wow! This is an awesome shelter! At another shelter we were treated with undue suspicion ( we cancelled our application after 10 days of background checks and no answer) BUT the SPCA read our application and gave us an immediate pre-approval. The SPCA is friendly from the moment you walk in. You will receive a volunteer or employee who will guide you through the animals, open crates, and answer questions. We went twice on crowded snowstorm Saturdays and the staff did a great job of helping people take turns with meeting animals. We spent 4 hours with cats and they never rushed us. They did not guilt us about anything about our lives. When they discovered that the cats we chose to adopt had a foster family note that the cats shouldn't be with dogs ( we have a dog), they told us a

We adopted Odin at 12 weeks old. The staff at SPCA were very kind and helped us with any questions we had. Michaela was exceptional! We will continue to return to the SPCA and we recommend them HIGHLY!
