We enrolled our 20 week old working line German Shepherd in the 8 week puppy class at Neuman in November 2025. We wanted to get training for our dog because he was growing like a weed and barking uncontrollably and lunging at bouncing basketballs and other toys and we have small children in our household and all over our neighborhood. 8 weeks was a long time to go without seeing our puppy (and we were worried he wouldn’t remember us – but he did!), but Neuman sent regular updates and photos. We were sad to miss our puppy’s first Christmas, but Neuman had a fun holiday party for the trainees and sent pictures. When graduation day came, the Neuman staff provided all of the training and resources we would need to successfully build a training relationship with our puppy. They emphasized that

Our dog, Bodhi, graduated from Neuman’s training program in December of 2024. He came back a new dog! The staff was communicative, knowledgeable and took good care of Bodhi during his training. We were so pleased at all the progress he made. We recently signed up for a membership as well because having the option to board him at Neuman, where his training can continue, and he is known by staff is priceless. We have boarded him several times at Neuman since his graduation and have had an amazing experience. I would highly recommend Neuman academy if you are looking for training and boarding. They are the best of the best!

We really wanted a family dog, but were concerned about a strong training foundation with our busy life. We knew we needed to ensure our puppy was well-trained from the start, and Neuman Academy made that possible. The 8-week camp was a fantastic experience and worth every penny. Our puppy came home incredibly well-behaved, and thanks to the thorough owner training on graduation day, we felt fully prepared to keep up the progress at home. A huge thank you to Summer and Josiah, and a special shout-out to Mya! Since graduation, we’ve used their boarding service several times. It is the only place we’ll use now. Knowing our dog is in good hands and that their training is being reinforced while we’re away is priceless. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

My 5 month old pudelpointer, Buddy, went to Neuman K9 Academy 12 week training program. Pudelpointers are a hunting breed. Very energetic and wanting to "do" something, always ready to please. But the energy (and there is lots of it) needs direction and purpose. The Academy did just that! It took a wildly out of control land shark and taught him to be a well mannered puppy. Buddy stopped all biting, nipping, mouthing. He goes to place and stays for extended times. So helpful when preparing food for the family. He waits at doors and doesn't go through until told so. He waits in kennel with door open and doesn't come out until told so. He no longer barks in kennel. That's such a blessing! He will sit, down and stay. 5 stars for Neuman's K9 Academy! We sent our dog here for the puppy training camp and he came back a new dog! We LOVE sending our dog here for boarding after his graduation. He receives a refresh on his skills that he learned at training camp and always comes home even better behaved. We know Thunder is well taken care of by the staff who know him personally. He gets so excited to go to the property with lots of tail wagging! Highly recommend to anyone who wants a well-trained dog. He gets compliments all the time on being such a good dog, and he's not even two yet!
