Once we had our daughter, we knew our 3 year old Shepard needed to learn boundaries and that the world does not infact, revolve around him. When we dropped him off with Jim and his team at NC-K9 I knew he was in good hands. Jim goes above and beyond to make sure your dog gets the training they need and deserve. Alpha came back with the same sweet personality, but disciplined, well trained, knows his limits know and loves to work. We are so happy with the decision to bring him here and now soon our fat lab will go!

Jim and his team at NCk9 have been absolutely incredible! We were nervous about sending our dog away for training but from all the reviews and feedback from friends that have used him, we decided to give it a shot. It is absolutely life changing for us! Our boy Moose spent 4 weeks with NCk9 and is so well behaved now. The best part is we are able to go on off leash walks with him! Life is so much easier to enjoy and we now feel comfortable with friends and family coming over. The ability to schedule training sessions in the future at no additional cost is an incentive that we have not seen with any other trainers and shows the confidence and effectiveness behind Jim’s work. I struggled with training my 2 deaf dogs, Riley and Winston, for over 2 years. Once I moved to NC, I found NCK9 and went for a consultation. I LOVE the fact that they bring you in for a consult before agreeing to train your dog. It allows time for them to assess what the dog needs and to discuss with the owner goals they have in mind for their dog(s). Jim and his team are by far some of the most qualified in the area for dog training. I was impressed with what they offered in terms of training, especially given my case with 2 deaf dogs. After 4 weeks, Riley and Winston are brand new dogs! They walk well on a leash, they stay in their place when commanded, they don’t bark throughout the night, they are better crate trained, they don’t jump up on people or beds or couches anymore. We had an amazing experience with Jim and cannot recommend him enough. Our Cane Corso, Kole, was very nervous and showing reactivity toward both people and other animals. After spending time with Jim and completing the board-and-train behavior modification program, the improvement has been incredible. Kole is doing so much better in our home and is much more confident when going to public places. Jim was upfront and honest about expectations and possible outcomes from the very beginning, explaining what could happen along the way. The end result has been far better than we ever anticipated. Jim has also continued to follow up with us since Kole completed the program, which we truly appreciate. We are extremely pleased with the results and would highly recommend Jim to anyone dealing with
