Natural Holistic Health Care

We have been searching for a holistic veterinarian for years and finally found Dr. Bernstein. He is not only very knowledgeable and experienced in holistic and conventional treatments, he is compassionate and passionate about caring for animals. His wife, Karen answers the phone and was very direct with me in guiding me through the process to make an appointment by instructing me to go to the website first before proceeding. I’m glad I did. I learned so much about Dr. Bernstein’s experience, services he offers, helpful articles about holistic medicine, photos and videos and was able to be fully educated about what I can expect for our first visit, which actually made us even more excited to see him. We have used Dr. Bernstein for the care of our cats since 2004. We could not have asked for a more caring, compassionate veterinarian. His level of expertise in holistic and conventional treatments is unsurpassed. it will be a sad day for us when he decides to retire.

Dr B has the healing hands of an angel. I brought my havanese to him with two slipped disks. She was in excruciating pain and literally shrieked throughout the day, even with meds from our vet. They basically referred us to the neurologist and said she would need back surgery. I began my search for a holistic veterinarian and thank goodness came across Dr B and his lovely wife Karen. His kind demeanor and expertise made a world of difference. Sunny is pain free and off all medications. Forever grateful to Dr B and his healing touch. The photo shows Sunny relaxing at our patio. Dr Bernstein and Karen became a big part of our family 7 years ago when our 95 lb yellow lab Tyler almost lost his leg and had difficulty walking. No other veterinarian in our area could help Tyler until we found Dr B. Over the years, Dr B was able to effectively treat Tyler’s arthritis, infections, and allergies with acupuncture, laser technology and other alternative and conventional methods. We love Dr B and Karen and they will always be a part of our family!!!

Sadly the attention you get on the phone at first contact speaks volumes. First they said that my phone came on to their caller ID as a spam, I ID myself and assured them that was not spam and gave them my full name and the name of my organization. They said that they are not taking new clients and that was that and first inpression was so bad that is sad to the lady: You know what, forget it, have a nice day and hanged up!
