Naticook Veterinary Hospital

We just switched vets. The practice manage Alyssa Whitebone made the process simple and we were able to get on the schedule right away. The front desk staff, Jess and Crystal, were very kind and welcoming. Our Vet Tech, Erica, was super sweet. Dr. Waples, was fantastic. She was thorough, understanding, honest, and listened with care. So happy we made the switch. Feels like coming home!

Dr. Whitebone could see how frightened our puppy was. He gave us advice to help him feel more comfortable. He and his staff were very kind and patient with our pup. This was our first visit with Naticook veterinary hospital but from what I could judge, the visit was a lot less expensive than our previous Vet. We are very happy with our decision to try a new veterinary hospital.

Today I was sadden to learn asking for a second opinion prompts staff to package up medical records after 5 years of service. Isn’t a second opinion a right to obtain and not be viewed as a threat? Well the practice manage opted to respond without knowing enough about the situation. Calling me MRS; Calling my dog a male and how he will be missed when she’s a female; stating they will not offer services to my dog or future pets; sadly forgetting my 2nd dog that has been a patient also for 5 years and come in together; being the doctor’s wife shows she was not unbiased and very unprofessional to dismiss my dog after getting very upsetting news and my requesting a second opinion to the tech. My wife and I had 2 dogs, a boxer and a puggle, both with health problems which ultimately led to us having to make the tough decision(s). I have to say that Dr. Jan Penraat was so compassionate and professional that interacting with him during these extremely unfortunate situations truly made an impact in our lives. I will never forget how well he treated us..and our boys Royce and Bentley. Thank you Dr.Penraat as well as Dr. Whitebone, Dr. Waples and team!
