Mystic Pet Resort

I recently boarded my dogs and had them groomed for the first time at Mystic Pet Resort. They took my four dogs relatively last-minute, which was the first blessing. Furthermore, the entire process from start to finish was a breeze. Mystic went above and beyond for us, from coordinating vet records and grooming to friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. My dogs have never looked so beautiful, and they all seem in good spirits. My only regret is not coming in sooner.

Horrible customer service from start to finish. I called to schedule an appointment and was met with an extremely rude, dismissive attitude. I was first told I couldn’t make an appointment because my dog “hadn’t been in for a while,” then informed that I was now considered a new client...only to be immediately told that new clients aren’t being accepted. Great! So apparently I’m both a new client and not allowed to be one.😭🤣 The entire interaction was unnecessarily unpleasant and left a terrible impression. This practice is a complete downgrade from the previous owners, who were kind, professional, and actually seemed to value their clients. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time calling either.

Mystic pet resort is nothing short of AMAZING!!!! Our rescue dog Frankie LOVES it!!! They take such good care of him and his tail is wagging like crazy every time I drop him off and pick him up! Can’t recommend this place enough and you can not beat their pricing. Will recommend this amazing place to anyone and everyone, thank you Mystic!!!

Just passing through town on a long road trip, and my dog needed her nails trimmed. At home, the groomer would have simply gotten down on the floor and clipped the nails. No fuss, no muss. At Mystic, there were several dogs in enclosures barking desperately, my dog had to get up on a platform, a noose was put around her neck, and - rather than using clippers - the groomer began grinding the nails. My pooch's startled reaction was met with surprise. Hmmm? At my suggestion, clippers were used, and my dog survived the ordeal thanks in large part to the treats I kept feeding her.

We were visiting Shenandoah National park this weekend and looking for somewhere to leave our dogs. I always nervous to leave them new places but mystic had great reviews. They definitely lived up to their reviews! They even groomed one of my pups while she was there and she looks amazing. They were well taken care of, happy when we picked them up. They were easy to communicate with, gave me updates when I called to check on them, played with them, etc.. would highly recommend to anyone considering. They definitely care about dogs and want to make them feel comfortable during their stay.
