My Family Vet

We made the decision to put our sweet 12 year old hound to sleep. Besides having lower prices than most, this place specializes in dignified, comfortable, and humane pet euthanasia and has a well-appointed, dimly lit room for this purpose, full of relevant amenities. Outside there is a walking garden with fountains and benches to use while waiting. The staff were all personable, courteous and attentive. Our good boy went out smoothly and comfortably.

I took my dog here because I could tell there was something wrong with her. As soon as I walked in, these 2 huge dogs started baking and coming for me and my little dog, but 2 techs immediately stepped up and shielded us, which made me feel so welcomed and like this place legit cares about animals. As soon as everything settled, they looked at my dog and saw she was struggling to breathe, they took her so quick! I wasn't even checked in yet, they just grabbed her from my arms and took her straight to the back to help her. The vet was very caring, she showed me the x rays and explained everything... I ended up having to put her down, the one thing I wished happened differently was that she was laying down when they gave her the sedative instead of sitting up. Overall I do recommend this pl

Took my Airedale Baela to My Family Vet yesterday and had such a great experience. The staff was super friendly from the second we walked in and made her feel comfortable right away. Vet visits can be a little stressful but they were all so kind and welcoming. The vet was amazing, so patient, and really took the time to explain everything without rushing through it. I never felt like I was being hurried along or like I was just another appointment. They made sure all my questions were answered and I left feeling really good about everything. The biggest surprise was how affordable the visit was. I was expecting to pay way more but the prices were really reasonable. We took our puppy here for his initial health checkup. We live about 30/40 min from it so we weren’t sure about committing to a place so far. Absolutely worth it. They were very fast, no waiting around for our appointment, and they were very attentive. They even helped us with a name for our boy, we were struggling lol. They answered our questions and were also affordable (bonus!). We will be coming here for our puppy and our older dogs in the future. Worth the drive.

My kitten developed gooey eyes, and I’m well aware of how serious eye infections can be. Unfortunately, it was the weekend, and finding non–urgent care treatment was challenging. When I called this office, they recommended texting for a faster response and they replied immediately. Although they didn’t have an open appointment, they were kind, responsive, and honest. They advised me to seek care elsewhere as soon as possible if the condition worsened, which I truly appreciated. My previous cat lost an eye as a kitten due to an eye infection, so this situation was especially concerning for me. We were able to find another clinic to see him the same day.
