Muddy Paws Dog Wash (Self-Service)

Happy Tuesday!!! We have experienced alot of dog washes between San Diego and Pensacola, but this place is a GEM!!! Awesomesauce stations that give you so much time to clean the fur baby that your arms could possibly experience muscle failure!! If I had known this place existed a year ago when we bought our house, I definitely would’ve brought my Doberman through, it’s a very low-stress environment and has EVERYTHING you need for a clean pup🖤🫡

I took Charlie to Muddy Paws Dog Wash a little after noon on Sunday. I only had to wait about five minutes for a tub to open, which was great. The customers before me left their areas clean — something I’ve had issues with at other self-service washes — so that was a nice start. When I first began rinsing, I made the mistake of spraying Charlie directly, which caused a bit of what seemed to be tub cleaner to soak into his fur. I should have sprayed plenty of rinse water before placing him in the tub, but that was on me. I spent some extra time rinsing him to make sure there wouldn’t be any irritation. I brought my own shampoo, but I appreciated that the provided setup was clean and ready to use. The water temperature was perfect, and I liked that both the pressure and spray pattern could

I was curious to try this after seeing about it on the local news. I took my male husky to try it out. The only thing I didn’t like is you can’t adjust the water temperature. The water is warm to the liking of most people but not dogs. I am one that bathes my dogs in a small kiddie pool in my front yard. I’m going to bring my female husky and see how she likes it. I’ll make a decision then if I’ll be a repeat customer. I believe this will be real handy during cold weather !🐶

The place was super clean, and they had everything I needed: towels, aprons, strong blow dryers, and even free treats for my golden! I appreciated the hypoallergenic, plant-based shampoo and conditioner since my golden retriever has sensitive skin. I will return and recommend Muddy Paws, it is very convenient and affordable.

Really clean and well thought out. 15 minutes should be enough time. Best days are early in week for no lines. All non allergic soaps.
