I am writing this review on behalf of my parents who are so heartbroken and devastated right now by the awful “care” they received at this vet. I want to warn people before their beloved pets are ripped away from them unnecessarily, which is what happened to my family. Winston, the sweet, loving, funny bulldog pictured, had been walking awkwardly when my parents took him to the vet. The workup revealed bladder stones. My parents were told that the only option was surgery. No other options were offered. Trusting the professionals, my parents scheduled him for surgery 2 days later. (Afterwards, we looked it up, and treatment options for bladder stones include less invasive procedures such as a bladder scope or sound waves to break up the stones. These options were never presented to us. I c

I have been taking my pets to North Madison Animal Hospital for almost 14 years. The doctors, techs, and reception staff at this clinic are THE BEST. Having lived in other larger cities before moving to Jackson, I had grown accustomed to veterinary practices where you feel like your pets are just numbers on an invoice...but NOT this place. Every time I take a pet there we are greeted warmly and my concerns are always listened to. I've never felt rushed or dismissed by any of the doctors at this practice (and because we have so many animals I think I have seen all of them at one time or another). My dog had to be seen for an emergency and the treatment was amazing, the prices were reasonable for all they had to do. They explained every step to me that would be happening while he was on their care. Very friendly when I called in to check on my little guy. Highly recommend them and if I ever need another emergency hospital for any of my other animals I will choose them.

We recently got a rescue puppy off the streets. A very sweet Australian Shepard. We were looking online for a Vet to take our sweet girl and found North Madison Animal Hospital was running a special for a $25 wellness visit. It was very easy to make an appointment online for that same day later in the afternoon. I have 2 small boys and one has autism. So we have a hard time sometimes going to new places. It was very clean. And the staff were very friendly. They even gave my 3 yr old a coloring book and some crayons to occupy him. After a short wait some more people came in with their fury babies. And they put us in a room to wait separately. Which I was grateful for since it can be overwhelming for my family to be around a lot of new people. They came in and talked to me about what to do f

My lil best friend Bailey was in pain and my regular vet near Pinson couldn't take him for a week. Went online with North Madison and was immediately able to book a next day appt with an extremely caring Veterinarian. I'm switching Vets. Thank you North Madison. My dog means the world to me. He's back to feeling 😃
