Mountain Run Kennel

We moved here six years ago and when we decided to get a dog, we interviewed and inspected several kennels in the Culpeper area. When we met Michelle at Mt. Run Kennels, we knew we found the perfect match. We now have two dogs and they absolutely love going to Mt. Run when we are on vacation and for doggie play days. When we get their Mt. Run travel bag out, they know the fun will soon begin. We totally trust Michelle, Daphne and the entire staff at Mt. Run to ensure the safety of our pups! If you are looking for a clean, safe, professional kennel for your dogs or cats, we highly recommend you board them with Mt. Run Kennels!

We have had a great experience here for our girl! She can be nervous for new people and experiences, but the staff has been amazing with her. She relaxes enough to play with the other dogs and go on fun nature walks, and she has always come home healthy and happy. I would highly recommend Mountain Run Kennel.

I am shocked by the negative reviews I read. I took my dog, Zoe to Mountain Run from 2001 when we moved to Virginia to 2014 when she passed away at over 15 years old. We called Mountain Run "doggie camp" because we loved it so much. I would ask Zoe if she wanted to go to "doggie camp." She would run to grab her leash and stand by the door, wagging her tail because she loved coming to Mountain Run! My two cats, Max and Finn also enjoyed their stay in their own suite with comfy beds, a cat tree to explore, and animal movies to watch. I can't say enough about the exceptional care my fur-babies have received at Mountain Run! Zoe loved her nature walks, swims, making new friends, enjoying one-on-one time in the VIP lounge, and eating the delicious holiday meals! I could go on and on about how w

I wanted to write a review cause I noticed most of these are not current. I have 2 dogs mini schnauzers. Daphne and the team were great to work with. We had a bad snowstorm on my return and they had to keep my dogs an extra day. They were okay with it. They keep you updated on your dogs with the pics on their Facebook page. My dogs loved it. We have been using Mountain Run Kennels for the past couple of years and i highly recommend them. Our dogs love going there. They are well treated and the staff is friendly and explain everything up front, from the feeding, to the runs, to the attention each dog will receive, to all the costs up front. They are very transparent in everything. If you are looking for a kennel, I recommend that you check them out. Their costs are reasonable and as I said before I cannot say enough about the staff and the facility.
