Dr. Smith is an excellent , caring veterinarian and the vet techs, assistants and receptionists at Amberwood are all very knowledgeable and caring. Collectively, their team always lowers my German Shepherd’s anxiety. We had a great experience yesterday with our annual visit and rabies shot.

I used Amberwood for all my dog's appointments with Roland. They were always kind, courteous, and very professional. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with cancer 6 months ago. They did everything they could to help him. In the end, though, there was nothing they could do but make him comfortable. I had to have him put to sleep last week. I chose a private cremation. This was an incredibly hard time for me but they were there to help make everything as easy and pain-free as possible. Today I got my little guy's remains back. I'm so touched by how beautiful everything was. I didn't expect to get such an ornate box for his remains or the added paw and snout prints. They went above and beyond and this was a big help with the grieving process. I can't recommend them enough if you need vet servic

Dr. Russo and the team here treated Louie so well. They even looked into another issue that was affecting Louie's well-being. They made a stressful time much easier to manage and I can't wait for his follow-up appointment. I also appreciate the transparency I received in what the exam entailed. Dr. Smith and his team are absolutely awesome. My 3 girls are my heart!❤️ My oldest is 13 and she is my medical service dog. Desi and I have been thru it all and I want to keep her going as long as possible. Dr. Smith and his team are kind, caring and professional. The office staff is always available to help with concerns that have come up with my girl and Dr. Smith takes the time to listen and tries to help ease my worries with any of my girls. I highly recommend Dr. Smith and Amberwood Veterinary Hospital. In today's society finding an animal clinic that actually cares and does not treat you like a number is a rare find. Amberwood is not my usual vet but I had a bit of an emergency and called them to see if they could get my dog in yesterday (my vet was unavailable). I spoke with the front desk (I believe her name was Amy) and she got me an appt the next morning but said she'd call if they had a cancellation. Lo and behold they had one that same day and she got me in right away. She was very professional, responsive, and sympathetic to my situation with our dog. My daughter took our dog in who was lethargic, throwing up, had a fever, and not doing well. Our dog saw Dr. Beahm. I'm picky when it comes to the doctors who see my animals, but I was very pleased with Dr. Beahm and she was wonderful. She explained everything to me on the phone and we came up with a plan.
