Amanda is INCREDIBLE!!!! to say the very least. Our Sonny is extremely energetic with a small attention span. He would pull us uncontrollably on walks and had difficulty using the bathroom in unknown places. Amanda was the best choice ever. She updated us daily with pictures, videos and tutorials on how to implement the training and skills at home. My husband and I wanted to learn how to maintain and continue Sonny's training at home so with the help of Amanda’s video we continued to help Sonny thrive in confidence. Sonny came back a changed boy, in the best way. He is less anxious, responds to commands easily and manages his energy before jumping on humans. Ultimately, we know Sonny will be safe. I was very skeptical at first about sending my Doberman to training because he was a larger breed and he can be much at times to the average person, but Angela stepped up to the plate and transformed my velociraptor into a well mannered Doberman, I was never able to take him into public places with out barking and pulling, now we go into Cabelas and Lowe's with people complementing me on what a well mannered dog he is. I cannot say enough good things about MAK9 Academy!! I took my two shepherds to training lessons for pulling on the leash, nuisance barking, and jumping. I had previously been to another trainer who claimed to fix similar issues and got nowhere. I actually drove up from Georgia upon a friend’s recommendation to MAK9 and it was SO worth it! Thank you so much! My two boys are perfect now and get compliments everywhere we go.

Angela trained our dogs Slade and Aria and was fantastic! She is extremely knowledgeable and great with GSDs. She is very caring about your dog and it shows. Both our dogs have learned so much!

Amazing and caring trainers who truly listen to your needs. I was having an issue with my Rottweiler and cutting his nails. The vet recommended sedation but, he was still extremely stressed. During a training session I mentioned this to Amanda and she told me she would be able to solve this through training and the Place Command... and she did!!!! I am now able to trim his nails without issue. Not to mention he has awesome leash manners on top of it. If your looking to improve your relationship with your pet, teach them good manners and alleviate the stress of an unruly pet.... I highly recommend them.
