Char-Will Kennels

Diane truly is a blessing to me, and I'll never be able to repay her. She is a compassionate person and devoted to all of these dogs that she takes in. I had taken in a German Shepherd named Brandi so that My Pit Bull named Athena could have a friend. Unfortunately, they were not a good pair. The previous owner suffers from medical issues and could not take Brandi back, and I could not keep her without having to give up Athena. I reached out to many Rescue Organizations that go out as far as Tennessee to get Brandi into a good situation where she would be set up for success, but all were overwhelmed and didn't have the capacity. Diane was able to make accommodations and take her in as an owner surrender. Surrendering this precious girl was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make

We adopted Tito! They were and continue to be very good. They answered questions I had after bringing him home and said they will be there to answer more. Tito seems happy here

Something kept bringing me back to Kodak. I was searching for a while. We are so blessed to have adopted him from Char Wills. He needed us and we needed him in our life. I really appreciated how willing Diane was in answering our questions and gave us great advice. Kodak is settled into our crazy beloved animal life of cats, dogs, and horses. PS Kodak came to us formally trained however not a fan of cats. However, I'm taking it slow in training towards acceptance. Its a matter of helping him trust their really not that scary..He's wise and studies. Kodak is healthy, loving, and super intelligent. He is truly amazing and shows me something new everyday about what he knows. Its now week three in his forever home! Life is enriched in good. Thank You!

Diane, Michelle and the rest of the staff are just wonderful, down to earth people. They know what German Shepherd is best for you and your family. I cannot recommend them enough!!!

I had called ahead because I always like talking to someone than just looking at their website. I filled the application out and once approved, made an appointment for the next day to have a meet and greet. I was told when I called and it clearly states on their website that it's first come, first serve. They don't hold dogs. Even if you have a specific dog in mind, it doesn't mean you will actually get them. First, what's misleading is it appears on their website they have many dogs to meet including puppies. That was misleading because they don't tell you that fosters have the puppies and it's another appointment to set up for that. There were only two actualy there in the age group we asked for. Secondly, the dog we really liked and would have taken home with us, someone else who had an
