Very good and affordable place. Has been around forever for a reason. My dog had an allergic reaction and they took good care of her. 139 dollars in total!

Montebello Veterinary Hospital really needs to stop calling itself a “walk-in only” clinic when, in reality, it’s more like a “whoever the manager feels like adding to the list before opening when she can” system. The staff told me to come early since they don’t take appointments. So, like a responsible pet owner, I showed up just before their posted opening time of 8:00 AM assuming there might be a line still because they did warn me about people coming super early which I understood and was okay with not being the first person there. Guess what I found? A sign saying they were already “at full capacity, and can’t do any more exams

Horrible service my dog was in a lot of pain the vet suggested x rays and blood test to determine what is going on I paid $650 just for that and was told they’d take a day and would be sent out to me. I had gone there because my dogs vet was closed and needed immediate help the vet was rude and gave me an attitude once I had paid. I called the next day after what seemed like more than 20 calls they answered to say it takes two days if they would’ve had said that in the appointment I wouldn’t had paid for the blood exam and just take her elsewhere long story short it’s going to be a week tomorrow and I have received nothing.

Idk why everyone is leaving super bad reviews. The wait is because it is a walk-up pet hospital. If you do not want to wait then make an appointment somewhere where they take appointments. Dr. Casillas helped my 6 year old cat with his UTI after he got blocked for the second time (which is very common with male cats) he recommended the PU surgery to help him feel relief and for me to no longer keep spending a bunch of money every time he got blocked(id rather pay for a $2,500 surgery to stop him from getting blocked again then to keep going back and paying $1100 every time he gets blocked). With PU surgeries costing up to $4000, this vet option was very cheap. Dr. Casillas was great at explaining everything wrong with him and exactly what they would do to my baby.
