Monroe Animal Hospital

I can't say enough nice things about this animal hospital! Warm and friendly environment, we've never had to wait long, the vet is knowledgeable and kind. We have been coming here for a few years with our dog and she remains in tip top shape due to her timely vaccines and medical care she receives from Monroe animal hospital. We have been very pleased. I also appreciate that you call them when you pull up and they wave you in when it's your appointment time. I'd rather not sit in the waiting area with a bunch of other animals, holding my dog back for dear life, because she wants to play while others look annoyed or like they want to rip my dog's face off. Highly recommend!!

I’ve never met someone so perfect for a profession as Dr Burg is for his. We’ve been patients of his since 1993. He has treated 6 cats of ours over the years. He and his team go out of their way to offer help in difficult circumstances. They are compassionate and creative and help you to make reasonable decisions in emotional times. So caring and calm. I fear the day that he retires.

They had the item I needed. Very helpful and friendly.

My Kodi passed away in July 2025 at 15 1/2 years of age. I miss him!! I now have TJ, (love him dearly) and I continue to go to Monroe Animal Hospital. This review is something I’ve wanted to do and is long overdue! Dr. Burg and his staff are truly the best! Believe it or not Kodi loves going there and I truly believe it’s because of the wonderful care that he has always been given. Everyone is so caring and compassionate every single visit! We have been with Monroe Animal Hospital since they first opened many years ago. I cannot express the gratitude we have for Dr. Burg, Dr. Waldo and their staff. Dr. Burg is brilliant and has healed all of our pets over the years. He is always very calm and loving and we appreciate he uses conservative measures first. I would never go anywhere else! Dr. Burg and his team are the BEST of the best!
