Monmouth County SPCA

I cannot thank the Monmouth County SPCA enough. I adopted my first dog from there, Pickles, and he has been perfect in every way. The counselors we worked with were so helpful in finding us the perfect match and the dog we were looking for. When we finally adopted, everyone was so happy, you can tell how loved the dogs are. A year later we knew we needed to find Pickles a friend so we adopted a puppy, again the employees at the MCSPCA were so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. They made sure Pickles got along great with our future puppy during the dog meet. Even after both adoptions they have been so helpful at the Vogel Vet with vaccines and surprise illnesses. This organization as a whole is amazing and I cannot thank them enough. If it wasn’t for them I would have never found my soul do

On the tenth of this month I got an early Xmas gift.One of the best I ever had. Native Americans consider dogs Devine Spirits and I wholeheartedly agree. Check out my spirit girl.

Dr. Mammen at the Vogel Veterinary Care Center of Monmouth County SPCA is truly exceptional. We’ve tried three different vets in the area, and no one comes close to her level of care. Her bedside manner is outstanding, her communication is clear and thoughtful, and she genuinely takes the time to make sure you understand what’s going on and feel comfortable with the plan. She is also incredible with our dog, Buddy — calm, patient, and clearly someone he trusts. It’s obvious she cares deeply about the animals she treats. We’re very grateful to have found her and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent veterinarian.

Very disappointed! My husband I Adopted a dog there in the beginning of January and he was biting at our feet and growling at us. He did have times when he was calm but overall it was not a good situation. When we adopted him, we were told one story about the dogs history. and when I called to speak to someone about the situation after him biting me and my husbandI was given another story about his history. His behavior got so bad 9 days after we adopted him that we had to call animal control. Biting at my husband’s feet, and then proceeded to bite me in the face and then on my arm. We had to call animal control to Pick him up. I paid $275 for adoption fee. then a week later I spent $500 On a vet appointment which included treatment for a fungal infection in his feet. And medication to
