What price is "sooo cheap"? What qualifies as "low cost"? Because I was charged over $400 and that's not inckuding the 15% fee they charged me for using card not cash when that was never stated to me until after the card was charged. I would never go here again or recommend. The people were nice yes but the cost and extra fee were INSANE to me. I got a single kitten spayed, and opted for the worm medicine and pain pills which totaled about $50 together. The extra fee for using card came out to about another $50. Not cool to say after that you were pretty sure you told me about it when you certainly had not. I had a rough conversation with my partner because of this cost and was on edge for weeks trying to make that money back.

We have a stray cat that has been living in our garage in New Hartford since the summer of 2025. Now it’s winter, we bought a heated cat shelter and give her food and water every day. It’s February now and she doesn’t leave the garage but this summer she will. We contacted Mohawk valley cat care to have her spayed before summer, the website says affordable spayed and neutering. The Vet said he was too busy, that was his response!! He didn’t even offer us a time in the future, he just shot us down!! I think that sucks! That’s not compassionate care! We’re just trying to give her a better life and control the stray cat population! You think a responsible Vet would be all for that cause!

My cat had not been to a Vet. I called Mohawk Valley Cat Care and scheduled an appointment to have my cat fixed. Booking was about a month out. I dropped him off around 9am, picked him up at 2pm the same day. Staff was calm & friendly and so was the welcome team (thee sweetest black/white pup around). Thank you Mohawk Valley Cat Care for providing the service that you do.

I took in a stray cat who needed to be neutered. I called so many vets who were charging obscene numbers for just a neuter. I was recommended Mohawk Valley Cat Cat by numerous folks for a low cost neuter and rightfully so! They did a really great job, appropriate pricing and he healed so nice and fast. Definitely recommend Mohawk Valley Cat Care!!

The Dr. and staff are super professional and friendly. When I got my second kitten, I immediately called them to set up an appointment. I was not disappointed and left a very satisfied customer again.
