Modern Animal Santa Monica

Modern Animal is next level. Friendly, calm, and organized but also 🥁🥁 somehow artistic and thoughtful. I mean look at their coffee table book. Definitely NOT a cold clinic. It feels intentional. You walk in stressed and leave relieved. Pure Magic You feel taken seriously medically, but also cared for as a human. That combination is rare.

Fantastic Vet clinic! Staff is nice, professional and polite, appointment starts on time and the place is clean and animal friendly (they have so many treats for cats and dogs and ways to calm the pet when needed). Setting appointment with the App was easy and the membership that gives unlimited Dr. visits and 24/7 chat with a vet is awesome. Dr. DeVore was professional and attentive, wasn’t rushed to leave or make any decision, and all options of treatment (and if they are essential or not) were given in a patient and calm manner. Will come back with the rest of my cats for sure. Highly recommend!

Such a great experience! After taking my new stray kitty to a different vet at first, I knew I couldn’t go back there. Modern Animal was so gentle and sweet. My kitty is so scared and they were so patient and able to get her to cooperate by gently managing her. Will bring my other cat back here too from now on. It’s pricey of course but the best bedside manner I’ve seen.

Very nice and clean place. Office staff was very friendly and vet was easy to talk to. Overall great experience.

I don't write reviews all that often, but I know that businesses in Santa Monica are struggling under multiple city and state sises, and I would like this vet to stay in business. Most vets in Santa Monica are SO expensive, but Modern Animal is just priced like a normal clinic. Thank you for that. The facilities are very clean, and brand new. I love their app system, you book on the app, receive Dr communications on the app and you get a full run-down of the visit on there too and it is easy to download and use. If you need a prescription refill, just use the app! We have had only good experiences here.
