Mills River Dog Camp

Zach was the very "Fur"st grooming customer. Becky did a great job grooming as she always does. Kristen was great at the front desk to check out for services rendered. Zach enjoyed all of the new smells and stimuli. We look forward for our next visit

Darla loves her days at dog camp! The staff members are all wonderful, and their attention to behavior and safety gives us peace of mind when leaving her in their care. We are so grateful to have MRDC as part of Darla’s routine, and so lucky to have such a great facility in our community. We know they will take great care of her when we need boarding for her, too. :)

My dog attends Mills River Dog Camp two days a week. He is full of excitement upon arrival every single time, and I have zero qualms about leaving him in the kind, caring, and capable hands of the staff, in an environment that is absolutely dog-centric. It is obvious that much thought has gone into the design of the camp. It had an adorable real camp vibe, and it so CLEAN and well-maintained. The dogs are grouped by cabin, and each cabin has a counselor to oversee the play/interaction of the group. The cabins all have a separate yard with plenty of room for the dogs to run and explore. My dog has made many friends here, and I am grateful that he is able to socialize safely with good dogs. At the end of his day, he leaves spent and clearly happy. Excellent facility, comfortable for the dogs. Fantastic staff. Our dog's tail wags like crazy the minute we pull into their parking lot: a great sign that she is looking forward to her vacation!

Our Lucy has been attending Mills River Dog Camp once a week for more than two years!! The staff is wonderful, caring and friendly. Lucy loves going to camp and usually comes home exhausted. It’s a great facility with reasonable rates. Glad to be part of the family!
