Middletown Humane Society

We adopted our Bella girl in 2015 from here. She was the best dog and lived an incredible 11 more years. She crossed the rainbow bridge today and we are reminiscing on the day we came to adopt her. Thank you Middleton Humane society 🤍

I had a bad experience. I adopted a puppy from them Dec 11. Within a few days she had diarrhea then vomiting and not eating. I took her to my vet. After just over $1,000 in vet bills they said she had PARVO! The vet had said she needed hospitalization at $4 to $9 GRAND.I called Middletown Humane Society, they said bring her there they can give her a monoclonal shot. After a few days still not better. I ended up upset with them about not covering the vet bills and telling me there was nothing they could do. They said try the vet next door. I did. I went to Dr. Quick. We did subcutanious hydration and administered meds and gel supplements at home with his instructions and it was exhausting. He told us MHS had called him on DECEMBER 5 because they had a PARVO OUTBREAK. December 5, and still

Wonderful Place to Rescue because they are as caring to people as they are to their loved animals. Very happy I went there since my 8 week old kitten was properly spayed, and litter, solid food and scratch post trained already. We love SMOOCHEE so much!

We recently adopted another dog from the Middletown Humane Society, and our first came from them almost two years ago. I honestly cannot put into words how much this organization has touched our lives. Both dogs have brought endless love, joy, and laughter into our home — the greatest companions we could have ever hoped for. The best dogs don’t come from breeders; they come from shelters, and we are so grateful to have found ours here. From rescuing and saving these precious animals to giving them a second chance at their best lives, everything the team does is extraordinary. To the volunteers and donors who make it all possible — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your selfless work changes lives, both for the animals and the families who adopt them. 🐾❤️
