We highly recommend Kim if you are searching for a dog trainer who cares, is very patient, and teaches us as well as the pups! We have two German Shepherd puppies that had high energy, no socialization, and no training. She came in, made a plan, gave us tools to use, words to use and taught us all so much. We learned to use new techniques, how to communicate and to be better leaders to our pups. Now our pups listen better, walk on leashes better, and get along with other dogs and people better. Kim helped me train my rescue dog for basic obedience. We had all our sessions and I could see improvement each time. Kim at Mias Purpose was wonderful with our 8 month old Golden doodle- Lulu. She is officially Lulu’s favorite person and will miss seeing Kim each week. I wish we started sooner! She came to our house and shared her knowledge on working to have our dog be a wonderful companion and answered all questions and concerns we had. After our first session we noticed such a remarkable improvement. Kim has the ability to show you what to do with training your dog to be obedient. Kim was awesome with our wild boy Taco. She earned his trust by being firm but loving with him. He now knows his basic commands. And she doesn’t just walk away when training is completed, she is always available for questions we may have.
