I contacted the shelter through Facebook messenger to inquire about a dog that they had. The dog was available at the time and I was able to get my questions answered. We decided to go meet the dog after I got off work. It was 1.5 hours away. We called at 3:38pm to make sure the dog was still available and to find out what we needed to bring in case we adopted her. We arrived at 5:30pm and told the person at the desk which dog we came to see and she seemed to have no idea what dog I was asking about. I spelled the dogs name and she asked two ladies in the back who seemed confused too but eventually one of them said the dog had already been adopted. I made the comment that we called before we left and we drove 1.5 hours to get there. All of the ladies in the office at the time denied speaki
I’ve said it for years we need call and have someone come and investigate this place the staff is rude nasty and lazy.. One actually cussed in front of my mom said if you want the damn dog you get it ..
This is a great shelter Staffed by amazing people. They are one of our favorite shelters to work with
I adopted my sweet little Gem from this place! She's a great little pup! We went during their Halloween event and only paid $40 for adoption fees. They were sweet enough to give us 3 pup bones for her and she got a little Halloween bandana to boot! She was so cute and I love this little girl! Thanks guys!!
We went to the shelter in hopes to adopt a dog for $10 (as advertised.)They had two 8 week old puppies that were up for adoption & said the puppies were $140. Well, my son fell in love with one of them so he adopted it. In the cage, the dogs had diarrhea and/or vomit on their blankets and when I asked the older worker that was showing us around, she said that it was because they had just been dewormed. Ok, still a little skeptical but we wanted to take him to his furever home & thought he’d be fine. We were WRONG. They gave him his second Parvo shot before we left. I know it takes 30 days for each of the (3) shots for them to become fully immune to Parvo. We got the puppy home. He has been vomiting 2 to 3 times an hour will not eat and has barely drank anything. Today the puppy is letharg
